Who is responsible
SAT Group is the trading identity used by Sean Anthony Thomas for these websites while the proposed Cyprus business is being prepared. For privacy enquiries contact info@sat.cy. This policy covers sat.cy and SAT sites including experiences.sat.cy, lettings.sat.cy, jobs.sat.cy and stays.sat.cy.
Information we collect
When you email, call, use WhatsApp or submit an enquiry, we may receive your name, contact details and the information you choose to provide about a hospitality project, property, job, relocation or experience. Our hosting service also processes technical data such as IP address, browser information, request times and security logs. If you choose to show the Discover Cars banner, its affiliate platform receives a request for the banner image and tracking pixel, which can include your IP address, browser details and referral information. Please avoid sending sensitive information unless it is needed and we have agreed how to handle it.
How and why we use it
We use enquiries to respond and take requested steps before a possible service agreement; we keep relevant correspondence for our legitimate interest in managing enquiries and records; and we process technical information to operate and secure the sites. Where a legal obligation applies, we use information to meet it. We will seek consent before sending optional marketing that requires it. We do not sell your personal information.
Partners and referrals
Our experiences, car hire and property pages may link to independent providers. If you follow a link, that provider collects information under its own policy. We receive referral or affiliate commission from some links where indicated. We only pass your enquiry details to a partner with your request or permission, or where needed to deliver an agreed service; we will tell you who receives them. Job and property listing contacts may be handled by the relevant advertiser when you contact them directly.
Storage and international transfers
We use website hosting and communications providers to handle site traffic and messages. Their infrastructure may process data outside Cyprus or the European Economic Area. Where required, transfers are subject to an appropriate legal safeguard, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses. Contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your enquiry.
How long we keep it
We retain enquiries for up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact unless an agreement, legal requirement or dispute calls for longer retention. Security logs are kept for the period needed for site operation and investigation under our hosting arrangements. You may request deletion sooner where the law permits.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to our processing. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. Email info@sat.cy to make a request. You may also complain to the Cyprus Commissioner for Personal Data Protection, or to the relevant authority where you live.
