How the sites use cookies

A cookie is a small item stored by your browser. SAT.CY currently uses an essential, secure session cookie for its password-protected preview; it expires after eight hours, or earlier when you log out. The hosting platform may also use strictly necessary security or delivery technology. These functions do not require an optional advertising cookie preference. The car-hire page also offers optional Discover Cars affiliate content: its image and tracking pixel load only after you choose “Show Discover Cars offer”.

Third-party sites

Some pages link to independent booking, affiliate, car hire, property, social media or messaging services. Visiting those services is subject to their own cookie policies and settings. A plain outbound link does not itself place that provider’s cookies through SAT.CY. When you choose to show the Discover Cars banner, your browser requests its image and impression pixel from the affiliate platform, which may receive your IP address, browser information and referral details. Its own privacy and cookie policies then apply.

Your controls

You can clear or block cookies in your browser. Blocking the preview session cookie prevents the password-protected SAT.CY preview from remembering your access. If we introduce optional analytics or advertising cookies, we will update this policy and ask for the required choice before setting them.
